The purpose of my design was to make the food stand out without ignoring the message. So I created a light blue transparent box on the top of the image so I wouldn't interfere with the main focus of the image, and I added the heading and subheading in the box so the visitors can get a clear message of what kind of website it is. So far, the contest is still on.")

I am an aspiring web designer and front-end developer. Although I am very knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, I have an strong emphasis on design and site layout.
When I am not designing or on the laptop, I love to read mystery novels, cook vegetarian meals, travel and participate in fitness events like fun 5K runs.
