How dhKV started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our website sells a fitness product called Fat Gripz. Our audience is 90% male, generally about 18-30 years old, and they are looking for ways to increase their muscle size / strength / sports performance.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Our current website is probably too dark and focuses too much on the hardcore bodybuilding market. Now we are looking for a brighter, cleaner design which appeals to a larger audience. We came up with a new design (http://brugsee.com) which is an improvement but it's still not right so we are interested to see some fresh thinking.
We need two pages:
1) A homepage. This page need to look great, get people's attention, and explain very quickly and simply why the product works so well (it needs a bit of explanation). The explanation / marketing message can be seen on http://brugsee.com. This page needs to appeal to the general fitness crowd and not have pictures of bodybuilders on it.
2) A "buyer persona" page i.e. one of the pages people click on after the homepage to see how Fat Gripz will help them with their specific sport (you can see these pages on our current site - they are called "physique and bodybuilding", "crossfit, sports performance and olympic lifting", etc etc.) We just need one design for this which we can adapt to each sport. Please design one for the physique and bodybuilding buyers which we can also adapt to the other buyers later.
What to avoid
The page needs to be light-colored, easy to read and it must really grab the visitors attention.
