This is a redesign of a big, Swedish accounting and payroll firm, Swedens most modern and progressive player in the financial services field. The target audience is small and big companies and organizations which want to save time and money by using a modern, big, professional and efficient accounting firm. Matrisen is helping their clients to streamline the accounting and payroll processes using modern online tools, avoiding traditional paper work as much as possible. We want a clean, professional, but not stiff, design that is responsive. The overall goal of the website is to generate leads that contact Matrisen.
Accounting shouldn't be boring! We want a modern, clean design for a company in a traditionally quite stiff business. The wesite will be in Swedish and in English Start page: we want to show in what industry we work, but do not have to explain too much. We want our existing customers to login to our services. We also want our customers to find the right contact. We want first time visitors to leave their e-mail address or phone number so we can contact them. The start page should have distinct entry points for services, contact. This is a simple responsive prototype showing the menu structure: http://static.wunderkraut.com/mt-prototype/ Matrisen is sponsoring sailing boat that takes part in sail races. Sailing boats and marine images is a general theme in their marketing. Why boats? Accounting and financial control have things in common with sailing. It's about calculation, How do winds and sea currents affect our boat navigation choices? How do taxes and legal constraint affect our corporate navigation choices? Think responsive. The design you are submitting must be well prepared for responsive layout, please provide versions of all pages you deliver in at least three device widths: desktop, cell phone and tablet. This includes recommendations for what order things are presented and what needs to be omitted if necessary.
1. Start page: we want to show in what industry we work, but we do not have to explain too much. We want our existing customers to login to our services. We visitors to find the right contact. First time visitors should be encouraged to call one of our contact persons or to leave their e-mail address or phone number so we can contact them. 2. Landing page: containing information about a specific topic, like tax rules for small companies, leading the visitor to service pages. 3. Contact page: showing offices, staff with photos and contact info. 4. Product/service page: containing description, pricing information, short contact person info. 5. Article page: containing description of for example a new tax law and its consequenses, contact person.
What to avoid
Massive amounts of text, big fold down menus. Stiff, boring accounting feel. Big, complex enterprise look and feel: http://www.pwc.se/sv/ Different design and reduced content in English.
