FSET got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Serious IT company, fun group of guys. In need of a grown up website!
Check out FSET's Web page design contest…
FSET Inc. provides Information Technology & Services provided to business and corporate clientele. Our services include IT staffing & managed services, consulting, security audits, vulnerability assessments, cloud managed solutions, VoIP & Unified Communications, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, server and desktop virtualization, systems integration, project management, etc.
http://www.fset.ca is currently being forwarded to the domain 468tech.ca We want fset.ca to be a new site and new design that will stand on it's own and focus on our corporate and business services.
Colors will be based off our brand guidelines. See attached. As mentioned we do want to do a pink theme and variation for the splash/landing page leading up to the sponsored event which will be followed by our full website going live. We would like it to be an extension of our staff and organization. We work with a really good crew and fun bunch of guys who are able to relate to our clients on many levels, different than your typical IT company. We take the quality of work and attention to detail very seriously however. Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism.
Page 1) or perhaps 1a) will be a splash/landing page with a countdown leading up to a fund raising event we are sponsoring June 7th, 2014. The event is in support of the Lake of the Wood District Hospital Foundation's Digital Imaging Campaign for the Mammography & Chemotherapy departments. The sponsorship letter is attached as a pdf and we are a "Bountiful Benefactor" of the event. We would like to go with a pink variation of our logo and brand for the splash page in support of the event. In this page we would also like to incorporate a sweepstakes we are putting on that can be found here. http://woobox.com/qod8h6. A link perhaps along the lines of "Enter For Your Chance To Win 2 VIP Passes to Boobie Nights 5!". More information about Boobie Nights 5 can be found on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/boobienights5 and their website http://boobienights.ca/. On June 8th or shortly thereafter we want to go live with our full website using our standard colors and theme. There will probably end up being more than the 1+4 pages allowable by the contest which we would hope to be able to work with the designer on a one on one basis after the contest. The full website pages would be made up of the 1b) "Home", 2) "About Us", 3) "Services", and 4) "Support" which will be a support portal for our clients. We'd like to be able to incorporate our technologies and vendors that we have partnered with somewhere within the site. These include Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco Meraki, Veeam, among others which we will provide. As mentioned there may be additional pages we want to see added. These might include a "Contact" page, perhaps a "Partners" page of its own, maybe a page for a "Blog" or "News" feed/aggregation that we can pull in technology related news and information through RSS feeds or other means, and perhaps an "Events" page.
Although we're an IT company we realize that doing our own website might be like asking an electrical engineer to build you a bridge, for that you should be speaking to a structural engineer. Both engineers, but one will give you a not so good bridge. :P This certainly isn't our forte and the reason we've turned to people like yourselves here at 99designs. We're looking to the creative collective based on the services our company provides to put together a professional yet fun site. An example of our business card is included with our contact information although the contact email address we would use for the site will be firstname.lastname@example.org
