Essentially I would just like a brochure page that encapsulates the points that I have listed below. Of course I do appreciate the below points are quite wordy so I am not expecting all of the text below to be included. Rather I would simply like the page to have sections for each item... Almost taking the user on a journey of the concept:
SUBSCRIPTION BASED BUSINESS MODELS ARE EXPLODING…
Gartner predicts that by 2020, all new entrants and 80% of historical vendors will offer subscription-based business models, regardless of where the software resides. “What began as a trickle a few years ago has become a stampede of vendors wanting to make a move to a subscription business model,” Wurster says.
More than 1 in 3 Americans (35%) say they have signed up for a subscription or membership, such as a gym, that enrolled them in an automatic payment plan without even realizing it, according to a new study by CreditCards.com.
AND YET SUBSCRIPTION BASED PAYMENT METHODS ARE EXTREMELY ARCHAIC!
They virtually always require you to have a credit card, meaning you can rarely sign up/subscribe using your bank account and good luck if you’d like to split the subscription between a combination of your cards or accounts… that just aint happening!
THE CURRENT SYSTEM HAS A SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE FOR BOTH PARTIES
Next issue… you lose your credit card… or it expires… or worse still, you have to cancel it due to fraudulent transactions. Can you even remember what services you need to update? What happens if you miss an account that’s vital? If you have staff who have used your company card to sign up to services for your business on your behalf, how on earth do you keep track of that?
Oh and then there’s the issue of cancelling a subscription you either don’t want any more or didn’t even know you had in the first place.
Well we think subscription-based payments are well overdue for an upgrade and so we created Wild Card.
PLAY YOUR WILD CARD
Instead of giving out your real credit card every time you sign up for a new subscription, we generate you a new and completely unique virtual credit card, which we affectionately call a Wild Card. And we are able to do this for virtually every subscription relationship you have! Also your Wild Cards get specifically coded so that they will only work for the individual merchant to whom you are subscribing. This means that no other company or nasty hackers can attempt to debit any $$ from that card. Your Wild Card can even be programmed to only allow a set amount to be debited from it each month, so if a merchant tries to increase their monthly subscription fees without telling you, your Wild Card will prevent the transaction from going through.
MIX & MATCH
When creating a Wild Card you can also choose to fund the card from a bank account (as opposed to using a real credit card). This means you can sign up to Netflix even if you don’t have a credit card because you can use your Wild Card as a proxy for your PayPal or bank account. And if you’re a ‘mix and match’ kind of person then we’ve got you covered because you can choose to fund your Wild Card across a number of different funding sources. Say you want 10% to come off your Amex, 30% to come off your Visa and the rest to come out of your PayPal account. Just tell your Wild Card what you want and watch it go to work.
Your Wild Cards also have a very long life expectancy… what does that mean? Well, when we create you a new Wild Card, unlike traditional credit cards that only last for 3 to 4 yrs, your Wild Card won’t expire for at least 10yrs. This means that you don’t need to update countless subscriptions every time one of your real credit cards expire, is lost or is cancelled due to fraudulent activity. Simply update your new credit card details in your account once and any of your Wild Cards, that are connected to that card, will now start debiting this new credit card instantly.
IT’S NOT YOU IT’S ME… ACTUALLY… IT IS YOU
Want to cancel a subscription you don’t need anymore? At Wild Card we believe this should be as simple as clicking a button. And so that’s exactly what we we’ve done! We’ve created a ‘cancel’ button, that when clicked, will cancel the Wild Card for that particular subscription. No need to contact the company in question, no need to put it in writing and absolutely zero need to say “It’s not you it’s me” because let’s face it, it is them. Instead, just cut off their access to your hard earned $$ by cancelling your Wild Card for that particular merchant. It really is as simple as that. And because each Wild Card is programmed specifically for one merchant and one merchant only, you don’t have to worry about this affecting any of your other subscriptions.
