aaron.wallis got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Data loving tech-startup needs a rocking Helpdesk design.

We're a Melbourne based tech-startup who builds tools to help marketers and customer service agents to build better relationships with their customers using data!
Lexer has a pretty clear brand with key brand colours, fonts, and icons. Check out our main website for an example. This design will replace our http://learn.lexer.io website - we need a better UI to present content, navigation and such. Please look at that site as a guide of what we're building, but check out the inspiration sites for what we're hoping to achieve. In summary though, the site you're designing is a new version of our Helpdesk where our users (new and old) come to learn about the platform. We will be using screenshots of our products extensively, as well as some videos. But the most important aspect is the text we use to explain our features.
I've provided wireframes and a sitemap. Essentially we need three pages designed: 1. the homepage 2. a category page 3. an article Check out the Asana Guide as an example of how we'd like the homepage layout to work - but also look at Lexer.io, as it should feel "part of the family". The category page should also leverage the Asana Guide thinking, but is more of a guided list of pages. Lastly the article page is heavy. There'll be lots of text, images, and videos on each page. With lists, "hot tip" breakouts, download boxes and links to other pages. It's important the typography of these pages are amazing. But please be sure to leverage Lexer's existing fonts and styles as much as you can. The article page design should include examples of: * headings of all levels * bullet and numbered lists * links * highlight boxes for warnings, facts, tips, and downloads * code samples * images (full width - we won't have any complex layouts) * videos Overall the site will be a very clean, responsive site, with clear focus on content and navigation.
What to avoid
Please refrain from too many icons, and don't use any photos in the design. We'd like to keep the complexity to a minimum, so please refrain from including any extensive animation, or interactivity. Or complex article layouts that require placement of images inline or wrapping, etc. The site won't include any forms beyond the search bar - so no need to design those.
We'll be using a static CMS to generate the site and we have a passion for clean design and even cleaner code (our current website fails on this entirely). Please help us on the journey by designing
