GrdDog got their new web page design (coded) by running a design contest:
Need Logo + Web 2.0-style design (fresh look) - FAST!
Check out GrdDog's Web Page Design (Coded) contest…
Logo Selected. Need a new-style template that should incorporate css and w3c coding.
What's your vision?
Tagline: Protecting Affiliate Interests Desired Color Scheme: None Desired Style: Web 2.0 - fresh Accepted File Formats: .html, .psd (or .png), .css The site url will be AffiliateGuardDog.com. As such, I will need a cool logo (I had logos that are just words). Be creative with this one - like a mean looking bulldog or something tearing into a contract.. who knows. The template will be a coded template that has a fresh appeal (like many of the community sites these days). Shouldn't be dark looking, but should not have too many bright colors (like pink) either :) Should work with the chosen logo. Template/Graphics should be custom - not a copy of any site out there. Template should conform to w3c guidelines (css is mandatory) ATTENTION TEMPLATE DESIGNERS: The logo has been chosen, so coloring should at the very least compliment this logo. The design, as mentioned, should be very fresh-looking / new styling. Here are the criteria: 1. This should be a 3 column design with header / footer - Be Creative 2. Header should be simple. Good examples are: http://www.propsmart.com/ & http://www.last.fm/ & http://www.mystrands.com/ - Be Creative 3. Should have boxes of content much like Yahoo, technorati, or any new-style interface - Boxes will be: Left Menu (2 styles to differentiate between menus), Right Menu (Top 5 programs, Worst 5 programs, Our RSS Feeds), MainContent (Full-Size Box, Half-Size Box - allowing 2 to fit in center) - Example Boxes: Left Menu (Affiliate Programs, Terms Watch, Terms Abuse, Affiliate Friendly, Bad Programs), MainContent (What's New, Recent Changes, Our RSS News), Right Menu (Top 5 Changes, Worst 5 Programs, RSS Feeds) - Be Creative 4. Footer should be simple. Be Creative.
