UpPump is a social enterprise developing sustainable clean water solutions in developing countries. We have developed a remote monitoring system for water well handpumps. For this poster, our target audience are NGO's, non-profits, and funders involved in water. We want to demonstrate the necessity and benefits of installing our hardware on all their pumps. The biggest benefit is the data the device provides and how this data can be used to reduce costs and increase impact for organizations and donors.
What's your vision?
We need a informational poster to use at a upcoming conference for non-profit water organizations. This poster will highlight the benefits of remote monitoring and how organizations can use the data to ensure wells continue to provide clean water far into the future. We need fantastic graphics that illustrate the benefits of remote monitoring to show organizations and funders that by adopting our technology, they can help more people while saving money and increasing impact. The title of the poster will be: "Remote Monitoring" subtitle: "The Future of WASH is Here" This year's posters are supposed to address the question: “How do you know your WASH programs are providing lasting benefits?” As per the attached requirements, you will also need to include names and contact info for the poster owners. I would like a 30' x 40' poster that looks professional yet not to sharp or serious. Smooth lines and drawings as opposed to photographs. Illustrations to communicate the story instead of wordy content. Also, the poster is to be general about Handpump monitoring rather than specifically about the company UpPump. At past conferences, most people had pretty bland, content heavy, academic focused posters. In short, they were boring. For this poster, we want to change that with something that really pops and raises the bar for future conferences. This new technology is the newest and greatest thing and is sure to get a lot of attention. We want to use this poster to attract the leaders of water organizations over to our poster where we can demonstrate the benefits of remote monitoring and then show them why UpPump's specific approach is the best.
