We are a technology/software company offering several different e-commerce platforms to customers all over North America and the world. One of our product offerings is the creation and maintenance of e-commerce websites for customers who have a need to sell parts to their end-users, but do not have the technology background or desire to build the site themselves. Our primary platform, alpscontrols.com, is an online marketplace for HVAC and building automation peripherals, offering over a hundred million parts from 120+ manufacturers. Our customers include HVAC contractors, purchasers, healthcare and education facility management, real estate owners, and more.
What's your vision?
We've increased the prize and re-written our brief! Please read carefully: When we build an e-commerce site for a customer, we provide for them a two-sided, 8.5" x 11", full-color, line card which displays: - The customer's logo and brand color palette - Introductory text about their company and the e-commerce site - Features and benefits of using their e-commerce site (that we have built) - A list of the product manufacturers to be offered on the site - A block of logos representing a well-known subset of those product manufacturers - Contact information Currently, we have only one basic design for the line card (samples attached below). We need a new design which incorporates the basic elements listed above, but completely redesigned and restructured in a new and unique way so that we can offer our customers several design options. Designers should take creative license to: - Completely re-imagine how we structure and convey this information - Show us new and better ways to list the product manufacturers - Show us a better way to highlight the well-known manufacturers -- For example, we don't have to show the quantity of logos that you can see on the attached samples - what would be a better way? -- Or do we need to show their logos at all? Tell us what you think! - Suggest different and better photos and graphic elements. We don't have to show a screenshot of the website - what's a better idea? - Suggest different color themes and combinations - Suggest different fonts Designers should not simply cut-and-paste our existing content into the new design. Show us something brand new and unique. Use greeking or temporary images instead of existing content if that's what it takes to get your new ideas across. The designer who wins this contest must be able to deliver an InDesign template of the winning design. We plan to customize the winning design template with the logo, colors, and text that will be unique to our future customers. The text and graphics you place in the InDesign file can be temporary. BE CREATIVE! WE WANT TO SEE A COMPLETE REDESIGN, NOT SIMPLY A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT VERSION OF OUR EXISTING LINE CARD!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Postcard, flyer or print starts at CHF 209.
