What does the user see in the App?
From the end user's perspective the app is very minimal. We just need a nice icon/button/confirmation that the number is valid/correct.
What does the administrator see/do?
The admin has more work to do, cleaning the records, scheduling the tool to run. There needs to be a clearly laid out page explaining the functions and it has to abide by Salesforce design rules.
What do customers see when they buy this?
Salesforce has an online marketplace called AppExchange.
The AppExchange listing will be the main place we need design to show the features/benefits of the app - this is the shop window.
Here's a good example of listing: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/…009xN9oEAE
Things that need designing:
1) We need an awesome name for this app - something catchy that would ideally explain some of the functionality - e.g. the most popular App for signing documents in Salesforce is 'DocuSign'. The names don't always match function though, the most popular document generation App is called 'Conga Composer'.
2) We need a cool App Icon / Logo
deliverable: JPG, PNG 60 x 60 pixels
3) We need a Banner graphic for Saleforce App Exchange page (e.g. https://appexchange.salesforce.com/…009xN9oEAE
deliverable: JPG, PNG 1200 by 300 pixels
3) Icon - We need an icon to show users that the telephone number field on the record has been checked/is valid- 20 x 20 pixels
4) Layout/1 Page Design
The administrator has 1 page within the app with some instructions to set up the tool to run regularly. Once we have the Logo Design/Colours, we would ask for some help in laying out this page for maximum effect
