How apayne started their other business or advertising journey

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We provide patent (intellectual property) analytics to a number of different buyer personas - research and development leaders; intellectual property (IP) leaders; business analysts. They can use this to find out if a new invention can be patented; if a new product might infringe someone else's patent; what their competition is focusing on; technical developments in a given market.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A white paper design.
We produce around one white paper over week, example attached, and need a template with a consistent look and feel.
The white papers will be used in B2B demand generation campaigns - we'll promote the content on social media channels and potentially via display advertising and encourage people to download the white paper.
The target audience will be combination of research and development scientists and engineers, managers of those R&D teams, intellectual property attorneys and business analysts so quite a broad range.
The documents will always include a number of data charts - as in the attached - so a key part of the design is that these charts are clear, professional and slick - these should not be 'over-designed' as clarity is critical.
We're completely rebranding the website so please ignore what you see on patsnap.com but instead refer to the homepage mock-up I've attached.
I have attached the content in ppt so please take the copy from this but the design can be ignored - this is what I want to be replaced!
This brief is limited to this one white paper, but I'm looking for a style that we can use each week and would expect to give the winning designer the work each week, subject to turnaround times etc.
We will also need an advert to support the white paper. This is NOT part of this brief, but in future the brief each week will be for a white paper that follows the winning design, plus an advert.
