CittaMobi is everything you need to ride the public transport in a smarter way. Wherever you are, just pull CittaMobi out of your pocket and quickly know when the next bus is arriving at your chosen bus stop. CittaMobi (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=br.com.cittabus) is one of the most popular urban mobility app in Brazil with about 450k+ downloads at playstore and a MAU (Monthly Active Users) of 200k+ users. We want the make life easier for people that uses public transport everyday in Brasil
We want to build a new design for this app following the Google Material Design guidelines with a clean apparence. A moderate usage of the orange and blue (colors from the CittaMobi logo) is ok. Google Material design webpage http://www.google.com/design/spec/material-design/introduction.html Google Now Card Concept http://www.google.com/landing/now/ Below there are three apps that are market leaders and also have good UX. Transit app http://thetransitapp.com/ Moovit app http://www.moovit.com/ Trafi app http://trafi.com/
Here you can have full access to our app last version (screens 1 to 14) http://invis.io/ZG1TFXE4C . Before start to design our app, we strongly recomend to see the app workflow and all the comments provided at the Invision platform provided in the link. In this new app version we want to introduce a new concept oriented by contextual card information. The user will register some information (home/work address, bus stops and bus routes that he uses in his everyday) and after that, contextual card with personalized information will be shown. The idea is to connect the user to this kind of interface so he´ll start to collaborate and will answer the questions provided inside the cards (ex: The bus was crowded? The driver was polite?). We want to gather this kind of data from the user and provide to the government or the companies that manage the public transport fleet. We want to redesign the entire app, but the main challenge here is to make a redesign on the main screens (at invision platforms are the screens 15 to 18). Screen 15 - Display the map with bus stops Screen 16 - A screen to register the user information (Home/ Work address, main bus stops and main bus routers) Screen 17 - The contextual card screen Screen 18 - Bus arrival times screen And yes, if the design is good enough, there are more screens to design
