quinnjmitchell got their new logo & hosted website by running a design contest:
Online Training/Nutrition service that caters to clients who are local and abroad.
Check out quinnjmitchell's Logo & hosted website contest…
My business offers credible services such as online training, weight training, and nutrition consultations to clients locally and abroad. My services are offered to clients ranging in experience from novice to advanced weightlifters looking to build muscle or shed fat.
The main goal, since I am offering online training, nutrition and in-person weight training for local clients is having an area to book weight training sessions with me online--the contact page must be professional and easy-to-use (intuitive) so that it strongly encourages customers to use it. Also, a little mail button at the top of the page to the right of my logo or in the hot-bar itself for clients to quickly email me for other questions regarding services and generally asked questions would be a nice addition. I like minimalistic/modern fonts and website layouts, I like the idea of the websites content staying centered and not stretching out the side of the page. I want the home page to have an area at the top where I can upload my own photos (similar to Mike Thurston's website) from photo shoots and is centered on the page with large spacers on each side of the content. The website needs a white background with text boxes that have a 3D feel with shadows underneath them. The bulk of the paragraphs would be in 3D text boxes in a structured/centered format. Buttons to purchase or to add services to cart would be enticing with color--probably a bright/saturated orange. I want my logo to be unique & ingenious. I like a lighter blue or a bright/saturated orange as the logo. The logo being either 2D or 3D with shadows and that incorporates my name into it, or maybe just a logo (without my name) that represents professionalism, conviviality, simplicity, and strength. I don't want a logo that's cliche and ubiquitous in the fitness industry, like a dumbbell or mentioning fitness in that regard. The five main buttons I would have under my logo in a hot-bar that is centered under the logo, is a Home button, a Contact button, a Products button, and a Services button. On the main page (home) I want the bulk of information. As you scroll down to the rest of the website, the logo at the top transforming into saying QUINN MITCHELL (a clean & bold font) in text and returning to the logo once the user is at the top of the page--would be cool! I want the website to have large spacers on each side of the content in the middle of the page, so the webpage looks more in structure as that of Mike Thurston's website.
Homepage: I want a brief introduction of myself under a large area where the photo would be placed at the top of the page. I would like my services is separate textboxes listed below that. Below services, having an area with 5 boxes with blue Jimdo (buttons) with products shown in each of them would allow users to quickly purchase services that I offer such as a consultation or weight training session, etc... I would be upgrading to Jimdo business, from standard. Contact: I would like a page with a professional form for clients to fill out--sorta like a resume, but with their information to contact them back, it would allow users to contact me about services and products that I offer or general questions and once they submit their info, it shoots me an email, with all the info. FaQs (Frequently Asked Questions)-- For this page, I would just like text boxes that are centered on the page, I would fill them in with questions followed by answers for very generic questions, so customers can look here first before inquiring about anything. About Me-- This page I would like an area to post a few photos and then some paragraphs about myself and my background. Forms-- This page is very important to me, just as much as the Contact Page is if its possible--I attached a sketch of how I'd, somewhat like it to work. An area at the top where two files, a ParQ+, and a Waiver form need to be signed by each and every client for insurance purposes, so the ability for them to download them off my website then re-upload the signed files is a priority. I was thinking two white buttons, aligned, with the files name beside them, to download. (I have included an image of a button off jimdo.com that I thought would look cool.) At the bottom of the sketch, I drew a few slider-type questionnaires ( a scale of 1-10), where clients can give me a general idea of concise questions I would generally ask, prior to contacting them or meeting with them in-person. Not sure if this is possible on Jimdo platform? After they fill out their forms and re-upload them, I wonder if its possible for the website to email me their signed documents rather than storing them on the website and send me the results from the surveys (scale of 1-10).
