Solaire was fantastic to work with. Quick response time, educated questions and a true talent for design. I was very impressed and would love to work on future projects together!

See the attached logo for the old one. This website gets a good amount of traffic but has an old logo. We want a new logo that can follow a similar concept to the old one, or use another concept. The old concept is about the molecules in a polymer chain, which is probably the area we want the new concept to be – molecules in a polymer chain. Other uses of plastic do not work so well (as in using products…) as they do not cover the incredibly wide use of plastics – sticking to molecules is a good shout. Also, other chemistry stuff like beakers is probably not good either for us for other reasons. Have provided colours. Please use these and maybe some greys and whites. It should have the .co.uk in there so it is obvious it is a website to visit, but the .co.uk can be secondary as shown. Also please make it fun and interesting, colourful, as we are trying to make the encyclopedia seem interesting and friendly, but should not go too overboard on this. Main audience of this encyclopedia ranges from students studying the properties of chemicals, to consumers interested in different types of plastics, people interested in plastic packaging, and people in the industry as well. We also want this to be in similar dimensions, not exactly but so it can fit in, say, a box with width 282px x 94px height. Please visit the site http://www.plastipedia.co.uk so you understand where the logo will sit. This site is going to be redesigned in the future, to give it a more modern look, so dont worry about fitting in with the colours or style that are currently on the site; the new colours are the direction we're heading in now. The new font type to be used on the website is Open Sans.
