The company is doing development and consulting in the area of software and data security.
Even though the company is located in Germany, I chose "Crissy Field" as the name to hint to the 8 years I was living in San Francisco (Crissy Field is a recreational area right next to the Golden Gate Bridge, and we spent countless hours there with our dog). The work I'll do in my company is a direct result of the experience I built up during those years in the Bay Area.
I envision a logo that reflects the "Crissy Field" theme. A first idea I had was that it might be nice to see the iconic buildings of Crissy Field in the logo. In particular, there is a group of three houses next to the beach, with a few palms in front of them, that feel like the essence of that place. I've added a bunch of pictures. Now, while I feel it might look great to have these house in the logo, I am also a big fan of abstract design. I stumbled over a small image at the very bottom of the yelp.com page that kind of reflect the style I had in mind (also attached).
Anyway, this is really just an idea, so let's not get too hung up on it — I don't want to limit your creativity, but just wanted to give you a peek into my though process.
