Dumpweed was fantastic to work with! Super responsive, very flexible, and of course came up with a beautiful logo for our new venture. Would love to work together again :)
How Sharbrador started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
In 2014 we started as a small Asphalt Sealcoating Company that has now expanded into full maintenance of asphalt (small asphalt repairs, sealcoating, crack filling, striping). Our team has also intentionally developed into other arenas: Home Care, Small Community Infrastructure, Custom Building. Our target audience is very local with many homes being 2nd and 3rd homes and many of the homes in the $1,000,000 range.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are very intentional about: TOP quality, taking individual care of homeowners, our goal is our customers total satisfaction. I want the icon to feel like we are anchored and established, thus very simple and bold.
This logo would be utilized for each division of our team, with each subname interchangeable under the actual logo. BUT I would like the icon to stand on it's own. The icon needs to be able to stand alone as a small image on the url tab. The logo will be used extensively in our branding campaign this year...added to vehicles, building signage, temporary roadside signage, Quickbooks invoices, letterhead, cards...etc. Our vehicles are rugged looking: black spray-on truck-bed liner is applied to the entire vehicle, with a bright orange stripe down the side. KC lights on top. Rugged tires. We are not a delicate company, though the original owner is a delicate woman...go figure. In the images you can see a development of our logo. While I am not totally tied to the idea (please think outside the box!), it would seem to make sense to expand upon it. The logo with the single S is starting to give a feel for what we are looking for. But, I am hiring you to think and develop it as an artist with free reign. We want to look awesome, not good. We want to go from good to great. We are moving to more of a bright orange instead of a burnt orange whenever we are "highlighting" vehicles.
