j.testa got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Need a new logo for tech savvy company - Aspire (logo is for Stayfull)
Check out j.testa's Logo design contest…
We will need a new logo for Stayfull -- a product that one of our companies (innQuest) offers. Stayfull will act as an online travel agency in the vein of what a company like Expedia does. In the references section you will find a bit more information on Stayfull.
Independent hotels must have the ability to place their hotel inventory (available rooms) on the Online Travel Agencies (OTA), and Booking Channels to be competitive in their marketplace. Examples of: OTA Expedia Booking.com Travelocity Orbitz Trivago Hotels.com AirBnB HomeAway Booking Channel Hotel’s Website GDS (Travel Agents) Airline Systems Corporate Travel Offices This “online distribution” is done in one of two ways. First Option, a hotel can contract individually with each desired channel and then manually log into their account and update Inventory and Rates. In this manual scenario, reservations are emailed/faxed to the hotel. Second option is to work with a 3rd Party Channel Manager to automate the process. This is much more effective, efficient and allows the property to sell more rooms online. The Property Management System (roomMaster, CMS/GuestCentrix, Welcome Anywhere) communicates the Rates and Inventory to the Channel Manager who then communicates this data to all the desired Channels the hotel wishes to work with. All Reservation Messages are funneled back to the Channel Manager and then the Channel Manager sends them to the Property Management System. Examples of 3rd Party Channel Managers: Siteminder TravelClick SynXis WindSurfer CRS Pegasus STAAH Advertising Bullets: Easiest way to increase online presence, bookings and revenue Automatically connect with more than 100 channels Rate, Inventory and Stay Restrictions Updates are automatic Automated Reservation Delivery All managed from one system, roomMaster When it comes to the design and icon for the Stayfull logo, it should, in some shape or form, portray cutting edge technology. The logo itself should also have something that would set it apart from similar companies within our space. When you look at something like Logitech (https://www.logitech.com/en-ca) the "g" really sets it apart and separates the logo from anything else out there. A similar logo design is Asus (https://www.asus.com) where you can see those two lines at the beginning and end that give the logo that unique aspect. These are provided to give you an example of that additional element we would want our logo to have. Thank you for participating and good luck.
