asaf p got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Start-up that crowd-sources solar data from ordinary citizens to build a smarter electric grid
Check out asaf p's Logo design contest…
WHO WE ARE: We are a data analytics and intelligence company that focuses on making the electric grid smarter by analyzing solar electricity data that we collect from thousands of citizens. WE ARE NOT: a conventional solar company that manufactures or builds solar panels OUR PRODUCT: A web-based software application for analyzing solar data and obtaining intelligence that makes the electric grid smarter and ready for the future. SUMMARY: We collect minute-by-minute solar generation data from ordinary households that own photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, using the internet connection built into their PVs. We then analyze that data and sell the results under a subscription to electric utility companies, to help them manage the variability of solar generation and to plan for the electric grid of the future. SolarRetina is a software platform that uses crowd-sourced big data to provide superior analytics to electric utility companies. Our focus is on helping electric companies integrate more solar electricity onto their electric grid. Right now, utilities companies have no visibility into the behavior of the many thousands of solar panels connected to their energy grid, making it hard for them to plan, manage, and operate the grid of the future. We provide electric utility companies with the visibility and analytical tools they need to manage their solar and plan for the grid of the future. CUSTOMERS: Primarily electric utilities. Secondarily, ordinary citizens who own solar panels COMPANY NAME IN LOGO: The company name, SolarRetina, should be incorporated into the logo.
