andreZX got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo for property investment company

Real Estate & Mortgage
A privately owned real estate investment and development company. Buy and build to let apartments, offices and commercial space in southern Germany / Swiss border region - not in the big cities but second tier cities like Lörrach, Waldshut and Bad Säckingen (google). We both own and manage the assets so there is interaction with tenants, but also important to build a profile towards banks and people interested in selling their assets. The logo and the name should be one symbol - not just text with a logo next to it. No problem to add more text if needed for the logo (i.g. more text here).
Other color requirements
Nothing specific, but good if it is a color that can be printed onto a white van.
It all began with a design brief.
