infozl needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 196 designs submitted by 44 freelance designers.
We are developing a 3D knitwear printer (or a 3D printer for clothes). The project was started by Gerard Rubio’s project OpenKnit, which has evolved into Kniterate over the last three years.
We showed our product in Makerfaire this March: http://bit.ly/2aqmSG1
Currently we are developing a much sleeker prototype for our Kickstarter campaign.
For our first product we have three target markets:
1) Design and Fashion schools where Knitwear design is taught (RCA, RISD, Parsons, UAL, Pratt, SAIC...); fabrics/textiles/wearables development labs and forward thinking fashion businesses.
2) Makerspaces, Libraries and Education
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Let designers make suggestions:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
We are not happy with our current logo.
Ideally to be able to be knitted so not much detail and not too much decorated.
