The Art of Development
We are a South African based software consulting and development company that provides professional services to mid-size and large clients. Our focus is on the development of web applications and websites, but we also develop custom software for Windows, mobile devices and other platforms. Our logo must look very professional, since it will be marketed aggressively both online and in print. It's important that the logo will do well on both dark and light backgrounds (even if the colour scheme has to be inverted,) and that it remains sharp and readable in small sizes too. The logo needs to portray who we are: 2 Seeds Creative. The Art of Development. Right brain, meet left brain. We are the whole brain. Combining creativity and our passion for technology makes 2 Seeds Creative the choice for your online and new media strategies. - Creative - Passionate - Energetic - Think out of the box - Fresh and invigorating We do not have a specific colour palette in mind but would prefer to stick to no more than three colours. Brand Name: 2 Seeds Creative Tag Line: The Art of Development Motto: Right brain, meet left brain. Description: We are 2 Seeds Creative, a start-up software development company that develops web applications and software for medium to large companies. We are based on the coast in a town called Ballito, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. Our customers come from various professions and backgrounds with no niche market being targeted at this stage, hence we need a logo that speaks to the general market. The logo will be used on our website, business cards, letterhead, faxes, email signatures, etc. Hence the logo needs to be versatile and to remain sharp at various sizes. We plan on using this as our long-term logo, definitely not something we'll change in a year or two, so we don't want something that looks cool this year but two years from now looks outdated.
Logo types to explore
Wants: • A clean, simple, professional logo for 2 Seeds Creative • Must use a professional colour pallet that looks good both online and in print. Don't Wants: • An overly complicated logo. • Gradients • Shadows • Colours/shades that don't look good when printed. • A logo that only makes sense to people in this industry. Have fun getting creative and don't hesitate to ask questions!
