The design was great, we used it on our signs. Thanks!

Rajaneesh44 provided a design that I knew was the winner from the very start of my logo contest. He was very responsive through the various stages and quickly made any changes that I asked. I will definitely work with Rajaneesh44 again!
Very pleased, would use again
How MediaThread started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We need a logo design for a tech start-up called 'Mediathread'. We are an integrated marketing agency delivering technology-based business solutions to help companies creatively achieve their business goals. At the moment, we primarily develop Web Applications (cloud-based, mobile, etc) for large national multi-million dollar manufacturing companies, but are expanding into other industries. We also offer Internet marketing services (SEO and PPC) as well as some website development and corporate marketing videos. Although our main focus continues to be on Application Development.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

We chose the name Mediathread because it encompasses all 'media' while also recognizing the tech aspect of what we do. In computer science, a thread of execution is the smallest sequence of programmed instructions that can be managed independently by an operating system scheduler. A thread is a light-weight process. Multiple threads can exist within the same process and share resources.
On a broad scale we build affordable tech-based business solutions.
We're looking for more of a Web 2.0 design or a "flat design" which is a "minimalistic design approach that emphasizes usability and features clean, open space, crisp edges and two-dimensional/flat illustrations"...but without coming across too trendy so we can avoid our logo becoming obsolete in a year. We're also open to a purely text-based logo without an illustration. We like the idea of subtly playing off of the word 'thread' somehow. However, we are open to different approaches and would love to see varying design submissions both with and without illustrations.
Ultimately, the final design should be creative, cool, hip and also professional. We are a creative media/tech start-up run by young professionals and we want the logo to reflect that, but we also want to continue to grow as a company and have our larger corporate clients be comfortable that they are not working with a small shop.
