What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Bits & Pretzels is Europe‘s largest festival for founders. The 3-day conference brings together the world’s leading entrepreneurs and investors to share their ideas on emerging technologies and trends in digital business. It combines high quality speeches, exciting discussions, startup-specific workshops and the unique networking opportunity at the Oktoberfest. Sounds very serious, but Bits & Pretzels is also a lot of fun. Check out some pictures of the event: https://www.flickr.com/photos/bitsandpretzels/albums/72157660380347898 Also check our website: www.bitsandpretzels.com and our highlight video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV-zUVwUISI The core target group is 25 - 34. Overall our attendees are between 20 and 55 years old. What all our attendees have in common is that they are interested in tech and startups.

Please read carefully: We are a local event for a global audience. We are very connected to Munich and the Bavarian culture and our main goals are to support the German startup scene, to encourage people founding companies and to let people enjoy their time while they are networking. In 2015 we had attendees from 34 countries. Therefore we would like to have a timeless logo which reflects our connection to Munich, but also works all over the world. We don't want to be 100% serious, but also don't want to look like an event that is only about fun. We deliver high quality content and a perfect organization, but attendees will also be entertained and surprised. We designed an event which we would like ourselves to take part in. Bavaria and the Oktoberfest play an important role in the look and feel of our event. In the graphic design we tend to keep the influence of these elements lower than at the actual event. In the current logo it is represented by the pretzel. Our plan is to use the new logo as a seed for a new corporate design. (Please find our current style guide here: https://app.frontify.com/d/MFRayO0zoABK/bits-pretzels-style-guide ) Feel free to use different colors than we are using now. Very important: You can use colors for the logo, but it should also be usable in a unicolor version black on white. Feel free to vary the name from "Bits & Pretzels" to "Bits and Pretzels" or "BITS AND PRETZELS".
