I have run a J Power Consulting for the past 4 years, I have provided consulting services to a number of Financial Services (FS) companies in the city.
In the past 2 years I have focused on implementing a new content management system, called Seismic, for a FS company in the city, and, this particular system has suddenly been bought by a large number FS companies in the last 6 months and there is nobody in the city with any implementation experience. For me this equates to a huge gap in the market that I will look to fill as the work I have done in London has recently been awarded a product innovation award in the US.
The opportunities that I will be reaching out to are contacts within the FS industry – aged late 30s – 50s who have less interest in how IT systems work and are far more interest in having an easy life and will rely heavily on my expertise to make this happen. They work for established, blue chip companies, and I want to be able to portray a similar feel from my company, one that is established and trustworthy.
I am playing around with a couple of names at the moment and have locked in a domain name of JWPC.biz. (John William Power Consulting) I am open to other suggestions but personally I like the idea of a couple of letters, similar to KPMG & EY
