A chimera is a mythical beast composed of parts from several animals (traditionally a lion, snake and goat). Digital Chimera was therefore selected as a name to represent the fusion of different forms of image/data into a coherent whole. The focus of the design should be on the presence of three different heads (not necessarily the traditional ones) which represent three different sensors. A body is not necessary, but can be included. Wings could also be included to represent the airborne aspect.
The logo should focus on a image/shape/symbol that is approximately square. The name "Digital Chimera" could be included to one side when extra space is available.
Ideally, the logo would be suitable for use on a black (online) or white (print) background and should therefore be invertible. A single colour could be used for emphasis, though the chosen colour is not currently fixed, and may be varied with context.
The logo is intended to be used at a variety of sizes (in print and online) and should appear acceptable across all of these. The smallest anticipated is on LinkedIn with a standard logo of 100 x 60 pixels and a square logo of 50 x 50 pixels.
Finally, the example logos have been chosen from arbitrary web sites and do not relate to any existing logo in use by Digital Chimera.
