Andi was awesome and completely hit the mark on my logo design. He blew the other options out of the water. It was creative yet also professional which is exactly what I asked for.

This could be a way to incorporate my wish for visual representation of a traceroute. Rather than circles etc below the word, etc. maybe the successive circles/pieces (don't have to be circles) can be part of one of the letters, perhaps the o or u?
Traceroute is a commonly used command-line networking diagnostic that helps determine where unsuccessful communication is being dropped along its path to its destination. The output is typically a sequential list of the hops along the way and a success or failure designation. I am interested (but not required) in arrow(s) and/or successive filled (success) and open (failure) circles in addition to the word to represent a traceroute in some visually interesting way. Other potential interests are "blinking cursor" representation after end of traceroute and also that I tend to picture it all lowercase (not hard set, just initial thought).
