alainZ got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a logo for a top tech training website: AngularTraining.com
Check out alainZ's Logo design contest…
AngularTraining.com is a service that teaches Angular, a web development framework. We teach Angular both on-site in a classroom setting and online through ebooks and tutorials. My temporary website for Angular Training looks like this: http://interstate21.com/angulartraining/ Angular has its own logo (https://angular.io/presskit) and I believe that deriving something from that logo in terms of shape and colors would be great. Here is an example from my competitors that I don't like much (too simple) but gives you an idea of what people in the Angular industry do: https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/733815144631799808/btTvwELU.jpg Another one is the Angular Conference (ng-conf) logo, which I like better: https://rushis.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/ng-conf2017-275x300.png The target audience is any company that has web developers who have / want to learn the Angular framework.
I believe it might be helpful to have different shapes for that logo (square and rectangular) but square is the most important as the logo would be used as an icon as well.
