We need a logo for a new company developing an online, double sided marketplace connecting per diem nurses and hospitals looking for temporary nursing staff. RN stands for Registered Nurse - scroll down for logic behind name. We have a mobile application for nurses to register their job interest, manage their credentialing and be notified of jobs. Hospitals will access the desktop version to post jobs description details.
On our platform, nurses act as independent contractors - managing their own careers to maximize earning potential and schedule flexibility. Nurses who initially sign up with us are more adventurous and willing to challenge the status quo - as this is a relatively new model of temporary healthcare staffing.
While hospitals get direct access to nurses without having to go through nursing agencies - think Uber meets Priceline of healthcare staffing. Hospitals want efficient, transparent sourcing of temporary staffing.
Our target audience is overwhelmingly female - registered nurses and hospital nursing recruiters (25-45 years old) but we do not want to isolate male nurses from signing up.
What’s the deal with the name, RobinRN?
We were inspired by the American Robin. Said to be the ‘first bird of spring’, the American Robin is frequently part of the dawn chorus greeting a new day, a new season (and a new chapter in the life of an independent nurse). Largely solitary, the Robin is industrious and defends its territory passionately. It can be found singing from before the break of dawn late into the evening, wherever light may exist in the darkness of night.
