tom_gracey needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 489 designs submitted by 144 freelance designers.
The 'web waif' is a credit sized device to store passwords for online accounts (banks, email accounts etc).
We are aiming at general internet users but we want to capture the younger tech-savvy market first and foremost.
We need to create an upbeat and youthful (though not childish) feel whilst retaining an image in keeping with a high-tech company.
I imagine the trademark will go on the reverse of the device which will be otherwise blank.
The words 'web waif' need to be displayed. Of those, 'waif' I think needs to be striking and obvious, 'web' is of course a bit more ornamental and does not need to be so striking.
*** Please bear in mind this is a trademark for a device rather than the overall company logo. We will use it online etc. but its design should be orientated to the device itself.
