We sell high quality motorcycle parts and accessories over the internet. Tthe business we're looking at is http://www.hurtlegear.com.au . We are a two man show, Graeme and Dave, and we have a couple of young women who come in and pick and pack orders for us. They'll grow into bigger roles as the business grows. We've been at it for about 3 years in our present iteration. We sell primarily motorcycle parts, and they are at the higher quality end. The gear is built/ made in the UK, Germany, and the US at present. We're continuing to get a broader range but we mostly intend to not deal with Asia, especially China. Our experience is that their quality from order to order is variable, and our reputation is built on great service and consistency of quality product. As a slightly more personal aside, I'm not sure when dealing with China how to be sure the gear I sell is not produced by slaves, and that would make me sad.
So we are a motorcycle brand, and a motorsport brand. We intend to be here for the long haul, and some of the better customers we have are a bit nostalgic so the really strong logos found in motorsport might be a god place to start.
I'm racing in the Historic Motorcycle environment now, and I have a few mates who are all going to wear our stickers and possibly more, so the gear has to be set to go on motorbikes, and probably helmets and jackets over time.
The logo will wind up on our website but needs to just slot in there, we don't have the time or resources for a complete rebuild, but we're keen to get started with the Logo which will appear on bikes, cards, ads, and wherever we go.
