The Premier League, the world’s most famous professional football (soccer) league, recently revamped their brand, including presenting a new logo to the world. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/feb/090216-new-look-for-premier-league-for-2016-2017.html Seems the logo did not meet it's fans expectations, and we want to see how you can improve it by submitting totally new ideas. A lion -abstract, modern, realistic, fun... you name it!- needs to be part of the logo. We would love to see what our designer community thinks could really make the Premier League's new identity shine. In their words the focus was to create: “...a visual identity which is relevant, modern and flexible that will help us celebrate everyone that makes the Premier League.” "“Our aim was to create an identity that acknowledges everyone who plays a part in one of the most exciting leagues in the world. With a fresh, new take on the iconic lion, we’ve created an identity that’s purpose-built for the demands of the modern world. While staying true to the Premier League’s history and heritage.” We offer you the challenge of creating a logo that represents what the Premier League’s new branding is about.
