Using the ON(power button) symbol rotated to make the letter G(see attached images). Also incorporating the circular O around the power button to join the two letters is one potential idea. The power button can be manipulated to look more obviously like a G if the designer feels that is necessary. The photos provided are only for a conceptual visualization. The logo needs to feel like a 3D /App style logo. Style Preferences: Clean, Sharp, Professional, Modern, Minimalism The logo will be used in multiple areas such as email, on computer wallpapers other banners etc. The font, case and style for the text is up to what the designer feels would suit the design best. Must Requirements: 1. 3D Logo 2.3D Logo with text a) horizontal text for both GO Desktop & GO Hosted b) stacked text for both GO Desktop & GO Hosted 3. A simplified version(not 3D) that can be used in black and white format As well as the logo, writing/text will appear alongside the logo in SOME cases, the two SEPARATE words are: Hosted & Desktop (please see uploaded image which shows these two stand alone conceptual designs) It would be great if we could see some designs with these two words incorporated, but they will not always be apart of the stand alone logo.

And then… they selected a winner!
My designer did an excellent job modifying a business card layout. The second part of the project is where things went south. I requested a LinkedIn background and provided a photoshop template and examples of the look I wanted. Unfortunately the design was never done properly and I ended up creating my own design. What is the point of using a designer on 99Designs if I had to create my own design. The designer did a good job in the past but obviously this type of creativity was outside his/her skill set.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
