davidbEy got their new logo design by running a design contest:
The Carbon Initiative needs a logo showing we convert CO2 into fuels and chemicals and plastics
Check out davidbEy's Logo design contest…
**NOTE** the name does not need to be included in the logo..** We are developing a novel clean technology that serves as an energy storage platform by converting carbon dioxide it useful products. Our process takes carbon dioxide (CO2) and converts it to carbon monoxide (CO) using clean, renewable electricity. We are using a process called "electrochemistry" - which constitutes the flow of electrons from one thing to another. Our target audiences are big industrial partners and government stakeholders. We want our logo to be simple, stylish, and capture the fact that we are working with CO2 (some literal reference to CO2 would be ideal)
Simple, geometric would be best. An old logo is attached - the 3 circles represent the chemical structure of CO2 (which can serve as an inspiration... or not). http://clickmaterials.com is a previous logo I selected from 99designs to give you a sense of my taste.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at CHF 309.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
davidbEy collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
