Launch Academy (launchacademy.com) is a accelerated learning program where attendees partake in a 18-week immersive curriculum in order to learn web development. In order to provide value to potential prospects and to generate leads, we offer a free “Be A Pro” learn to code guide which is meant to help new coders get started in the right direction and with the right resources. The goal of this project is to redesign the landing page for this guide. Target audience is men/women between 18-40 years old that are interested in learning to code. The current landing page can be found here: https://www.launch.academy/be-a-pro-guide

Elements to include in the landing page
The main goal of this project is to create a more compelling landing page that ultimately leads to a higher conversion rate of downloaded guides. Our prospective students have a discerning eye, so we want to dramatically improve the aesthetic of the landing page, but because we’re optimizing for conversion, we also want the page to be as simple as possible.
While keeping with the overall color theme and feel of LaunchAcademy.com, design a new Be A Pro landing page that remains very simple, yet provides a more compelling user experience to encourage a download. Some parameters:
The Call-to-Action should be very strong and available at the top and bottom of the page if the page extends beyond the fold.
The guide itself (the image of the book/guide) should be updated to be more graphically pleasing (to look like a notebook) and then brought more to the forefront of the page. This should be a major element of the page similar to this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3zf0raf8j…3.png?dl=0
Feel free to play with the overall layout of the page, just ensuring that the main call-outs exist somewhere on the page.
Include a section that brings credibility to the guide. This might include some user quotes such as: “This guide would have saved me months of trouble while learning to code” or “This is THE guide I wish I had when learning to code”.
The page should be personal, possibly including some humans. At the very least we can include a personal picture next to the quotes like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/stzlbctxq…4.png?dl=0
We have 2 pages we’ll want to design shortly after this one. The thank you page for this opt-in that promotes an entry level course, and the landing page for that entry level course. An extensible basis of design is desirable here.
