Our big fundraiser, the 25th Annual Hall of Fame Auction and Banquet, is coming up on Nov. 10. We would like some original art that we can use in our donation request letters, attendance request letters, website, program, PowerPoint slideshow, etc.
Our theme this year is "chrome dreams." For those of you unfamiliar with steelhead (sea-run rainbow trout) fishing, chrome is another word for a bright steelhead that recently returned from the ocean. It's a hip, slang word used by young steelhead anglers, and we want something that is attractive to people in their 20-40s, but doesn't turn off the older folks.
We are looking for original art that is surreal, dream-like, almost tie-died, but not hippy looking. Something that has flys, spinners, plugs, jigs swirling about and the word "Chrome Dreams" in a silver matelic lettering. Incorporating a steelhead in the art would also be great. Perhaps using the scales of steelhead in the lettering. Using cloud-like thought bubbles might also work. The wording should say in descending order of size:
