How everythinghertzpodcast started their illustration or graphics journey
Who are you known as?
Everything Hertz podcast
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a podcast that discusses methodology and scientific life (https://everythinghertz.com). Our audience is located around the world, but the majority of our listeners are located in the US, Europe, and Australia. While we often cover serious topics in science, we usually take a lighthearted approach to these issues. Most of our listeners are graduate science students and postdoctoral researchers aged between 20-35, however some of our audience skews a little older.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We would like a new podcast cover design, which can also be used for social media profile images (i.e., Twitter and Facebook). The main things we would like is the name of the podcast "Everything Hertz" and the podcast hosts "Dan Quintana & James Heathers". If it is easier to make a logo that fits the circle profile required for Twitter without the host names we would be ok with a second version without the host names. One design element which can be incorporated (but is by no means required) is a "hertz wave" (see attached for our current design).
We'd prefer something that's "text heavy" (see example below)
We have uploaded our current logo. We use the same logo for our social media profile, just without the host names. The new logo does not have to share the same colour scheme. We have also included an example of the sort of style we like - mainly text.
