We make climbing walls for schools.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are going to cover 4 foot by 8 foot pieces of plywood with a cover that has a printed design. I want the cover to look like it is the side of a mountain. Since this is being used by schools the bottom 3 1/2 feet needs to be different from the top. This can be a tree line, different type of rock face simulating a cliff, or simply a 1 1/2 inch red line that goes across the design. I'm hoping for a very realistic looking design. The reason the bottom part of the wall needs to look different is that for safety reason the students are not allowed to have their feet go more than 3 1/2 feet above the ground. The plywood panels will be placed next to each other and so need to match on both the left and right sides. If the wall is 20 feet long (5 sections) I want it to flow nicely from one panel to the other. But each panel needs to be exactly the same. Their will be up to a 5% variance in the printing process and 1-2 inches on both sides will be wrapped around the plywood stapled to the back. So this needs to be considered when make the design so they match up correctly when placed side by side.
I have attached an image of an entire wall that was custom painted. This is basically what I want with the bottom 3 1/2 feet being different for the safety zone.
