What's your vision?
I would like an application icon to be designed, and it should be designed specifically for Android devices (meaning that it can be of any form on a transparent background). Android icon design guidelines are available at this url: http://developer.android.com/design/style/iconography.html The icon should not be straightforwardly related to obvious transport icons, like trains/buses/etc., there are already plenty of apps with such icons. I would also prefer not to have any straightforward letters in the icon. It could be something more or less abstract, like in the following app icon exampled that I find quite good: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pushbullet.android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideashower.readitlater.pro https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dropbox.android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instapaper.android Personally I like something clean and simple without many small details. I like the typography and the texture from this dribble shot, may be it can be useful: http://dribbble.com/shots/365078-train-departure-board-01 Technical info: * Icon size should vary from 72x72 (may be 48x48 if possible) to 192x192 on Android devices and 512x512 for the Google Play web site. I would prefer the icon in vector format.
