Blis is the global pioneer in location data. Our proprietary technology and platform helps agencies and brands use location data to better understand consumer behavior, allowing for effective targeted advertising to drive business outcomes. Our primary target audiences are media agencies and large global brands.
What's your vision?
Project description: We are refreshing the Blis brand identity following an internal exercise to identify the Blis brand personality and tone of voice, which had not previously been established. The current Blis brand looks great, as you’ll see in the attached brand guidelines, but in order to bring the new personality to life, we want to create and establish an illustration style that could help us dial up some of our brand attributes such as ‘Loveable Nerd’, ‘dynamic’, ‘bold’ and ‘approachable/human’. We are also about to roll out our company Values, which has prompted us to expedite the conversation about look and feel and specifically illustration style. The focus of this project is to develop a proposed illustration style for Blis that it can use both internally and externally, with the 1st application being used internally to represent the company Values (see slides 4-5). Your challenge is to create a set of three illustrations that bring to life each of the three Values. This could take the form of illustrated characters or iconography. The most important thing is that it is complementary to the existing Blis look/feel and builds upon this to really embody our new brand personality. Objectives: Create a set of illustrated characters or iconography that compliment/bring to life our new company values This illustration style should be indicative of, and easily extended into, multiple uses. Deliverables: A set of three illustrations or icons that correspond to each of the three values of the company: Collaborate to Elevate Trust to Transform Deliver to Win Some examples of other illustrations in the same/similar style that could be used externally to help bring our personality to life and demonstrate our products/offerings, such as how the illustration style could be applied to flow charts like on slide 10. Mandatories: Creative executions must sit well with and not jar with the existing brand and brand guidelines, whilst dialing up the aspects of the new brand personality and tone of voice.
