The process was clear from the start and we got a warm welcome. The designs were we received were overwhelming, to say the least. To select the finalists was hard, but in the end, our pick was just right. We apologize to all the designers we could not reach by our descriptions and briefing, but being new to the process, this might be common.

We provide an app that allows police, fire, EMS, etc. the ability to search our database using biometric face matching to identify a lost child or adult. The parent or guardian enrolls their child in WanderID uploading their photograph to our website. If the child is lost, they can be quickly identified and returned to their parent by police, fire, EMS or other personnel using the WanderID smart phone app.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?

Additionally, we need a nice "phone" icon that is red and can communicate an emergency call.
The icons can incorporate resources from our logo at http://www.wanderid.com or not, depending upon your preference. We are open to icons that do not have our logo.
I've attached a screenshot of our application. The blue button in the screenshot would be replaced with a large "phone" icon.
UPDATE: when we demo the software, the "ah ha!!" moment comes when we show them the screenshot where there is an enrollment photo and a second photo of the same person that was obviously taken at a different time. If you use a stylized face, you almost need to have two - one either plain or with a question mark and a second one with a check mark or something to denote a match. But that's too much to do in an icon, so maybe a stylized face with a green check mark to denote a match or something.
Our catchphrase is "Peace of mind for caregivers" but that is focused to our customers (parents, guardians and caregivers) and they are not the people who use the app. The app is used by police/fire/EMS and we don't really have a catch phrase for them.
The users of our app are generally law enforcement personnel or fire, EMS, hospital or school personnel. Could also be used by hospitals.
