How mbannong started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a bus manufacturing company. The company name has some symbolic meaning to me as my grandfather was involved in the bus industry as well and his birthplace was Bristol England. He had always wanted to build his own bus back in the day but passed away prior to being able to do so. Our vehicles are positioned on the higher end of the scale in terms of both quality and price. We want to tie in the history of the name, the premium product we are building and come up with what I’m going to reference as a very strong, regal-like logo…a nod to back in the industrial era when things were crafted by hand and old fashion metal work was the name of the game.
The logo/emblem will need to be appropriate to appear as branding on all of our vehicles...so it cannot be cartoonish etc. It needs to be able to appear in emblem/medallion form in a classy manner fit for a vehicle.

The attached files - The two photos of the black buses are what we build and the logo would appear on these on the back of the bus. The file "oldbristol.jpg" is a logo from an old company in England from back in the 1950's...it's an example of something I like. It is classy, has a high end feel, shows craftsmanship etc
*I would like to avoid using any graphical representation of buses in the logo
