Contest is to design a book cover, including the cover, spine, back, and flaps of dust jacket.
The title of the book is: "The Journey Ahead"
The subtitle of the book is: "A Perspective on the Future of Automotive Retailing"
The author is: "Steve Greenfield"
The look/feel should be practical.
The content of the book looks to provide thought-leadership within the automotive retail industry, with a definitive view of the future of automotive retail in the USA.
The book's thesis statement is: "Change will accelerate in the automotive retail sales process. Vehicle manufacturers and dealers will need to stay attuned to this change to continue to be relevant. Those who best anticipate this change and adapt accordingly will be best positioned to survive and ultimately prosper. This book clearly outlines the changes coming to the industry, and lays out an actionable roadmap to not only survive but to thrive."
The targeted audience are the 18,000 new car dealerships in the USA, as well as the ~30 automotive manufacturers.
So the style and layout should appeal to a business audience, and convey practicality, ease of reading, forward-thinking, thought-leadership, and being visionary.
The biographical content for the cover can be taken from my biography in the attached file.
