Jeffrey Way got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Design the book cover for "Laracasts Presents: Testing PHP"

We provided online web development education, in video form.
What's your vision?
The book is called "Testing PHP" - but should have "Laracasts Presents:" somewhere before it - and less prominent. The subtitle will be "Practical tips and techniques for testing real-life applications." So a creative layout for: -- Laracasts Presents: Testing PHP Practical tips and techniques for testing real-life applications. -- The author should be "Jeffrey Way." This is a book for web developers who want to learn how to test their web applications. (Testing is where you write little bits of code to ensure that all the pieces of a website actually work.) Mostly, I'm happy for you to flex your creative muscles, but I'm thinking of a fun, illustrated cover, of a 20-something male and/or female getting overwhelmed and frustrated at their computer, because the code they wrote isn't working. Maybe they're ripping their hair out, or their eyes are bloodshot. It's up to you. Note that we're looking for a friendly, illustrated cover...but not comic book territory. At the end of the day, those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s will be the ones reading the book.
In the context of testing, the colors green and red are significant. - Green means the test passed - usually accompanied by a checkmark. - Red means the test failed - usually accompanied by a big X. You might want to work this into the cover in some form. Maybe it's on the computer screen, if you go that route.
